Saving babies is hard! High Frequency Ventilation is often used to help both prevent and treat neonatal lung injury.  Often clinicians will shy away from using HFV not fully appreciating the foundations upon which HFV can be beneficial.  This presentation will take a closer look at what HFV is and broaden our understanding of this unique form of ventilation.

 

Perioperative Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common, often untreated problem, affecting approximately 1 in 7 surgical patients. It is also associated with significant perioperative complications if left untreated. Dr. Thompson will speak on the value of screening for OSA, common complications of OSA in the perioperative period, and management of these patients to help get them through their procedures safely.

ISRC Annual Respiratory Conference

The Annual ISRC Respiratory Conference to be held October 25-26, 2018 at the Red Lion Hotel in Downtown Boise!  Cost of attendance will be $70 for one day or $120 for two days.  This year lunch and AARC CEUs will be included!!
